Limited early season snow cover
Due to limited early season snow cover, you will see some areas have "No Report Issued" against them. These are shaded white on the map below. This means that our forecasters have been on the hill, and due to very limited snow cover, they have assessed that there is insufficient snow to constitute an avalanche hazard. You can still view the text of the reports to see what is happening on the ground. Due to the current period of rapidly fluctuating freezing levels, there may be brief periods of thin fresh snow cover, but this is unlikely to last very long
